A broken timing belt will cause your engine to stop running and could cause major engine damage. We highly recommend replacing the timing belt at or before the vehicle's manufacturer recommendation. Most vehicle manufacturers recommend replacing the timing belt between 60,000 and 90,000 miles. You can check your owner’s manual or stop into any Sullivan Tire and Auto Service location for a free printout of your specific manufacturer service recommendations.

We also recommend replacing the water pump at the same time as the timing belt since the water pump will be accessible to the technician. There is no extra labor to do this. You would only incur the cost of the part.

Replacing a timing belt is a complicated service and should be performed by a qualified technician. At Sullivan Tire and Auto Service, all our locations are staffed with highly trained ASE Certified Technicians. In fact, we have well over 100 ASE Certified Master Technicians on staff.

All our services have a warranty and a Nationwide Warranty through the Goodyear Tire & Service Network.
