I had one of the most unexpectedly positive service experiences recently at Sullivan Tire in Leominster, MA. I brought my car in for new tires and an alignment and, like many customers, mentally prepared for the familiar follow-up call. You know the one: additional recommendations, upgraded options, a sense of urgency to add “just one more thing” while the car is already on the lift. That call never came. Instead, I received a simple message: “Just wanted to let you know your car is ready for pickup.” That was it. When I arrived, I mentioned to the associate that I had fully expected some form of tire or service upsell, based on past experiences with competitors. He smiled and said, “Yeah… that’s not us.” That brief exchange said a lot. The experience felt respectful, transparent, and refreshingly customer-first. No pressure. No manufactured urgency. Just competent service delivered exactly as requested. In an industry where trust can feel transactional, this stood out. Well done to the Sullivan Tire Leominster team for proving that professionalism and restraint still matter. 1/29/2026
