Belts and Hoses

Rubber belts and hoses are crucial parts that keep your engine running smooth and cool.  The condition of your belts and hoses should be checked at each oil change interval.

•  Belts:  Look for discoloration, cracking, or missing belt grooves.

Hoses:  Should be checked for cracking, leaking, or softness when squeezed.  Hoses should be replaced at the first sign of wear, since any type of failure could result in catastrophic engine damage.
